My dad hated plebe year too. He used to tell me and my brother stories about it.

I'm sure his plebe year was much worse than mine. I'm in a really easy company and so shit is more of an inconvenience than actually torturous. I've heard stories too, but like I said, it's not too bad here. And it's gorgeous. And on the water. And one day I will be able to travel. Maybe not the way y'all are really, but I'll be paid to go around the world.

"I set out alone, finding no companion to cheer the way with friendly intercourse, and no party of travellers with whom to associate myself. Swayed by an overmastering impulse within me, and a long-cherished desire to visit those glorious sanctuaries, I resolved to quit all my friends and tear myself away from my home."

That is awesome. The Navy, I hope, will take you to many places. I could never join the Navy since I am a hoh but I have encouraged many inner city kids to join so they can see a world greater than their neaighborhood. Keep up the good work.
