Woo-hooo!!!

I just bought roundtrip tickets on Virgin Airlines from Newark to London for $200 (well, after departure and international taxes it came to $300 or so...). Next up is to find a cheapo last minute fare from London to Malta as it gets closer.

I'll be leaving March 15 (Caesar, beware the ides of March...) and be gone for a week. Depending on my flight details back and forth to Malta, I may have a night in London. Anybody over there up for a drink???

I agonized over whether to purchase "real" tickets or fly my usual airline employee standby, but this ticket price ended up being less than $100 than I'd pay standby, so I couldn't pass it up. If anyone is interested in this, sale ends tomorrow (Feb. 5), according to the Virgin Airlines web site...

worldwidemike (can't wait to be off traveling, again...oh yeah, Kattdawq, woof! woof! Oh, and I'm going to Vegas for the weekend tomorrow...god, sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm actually just )

see, this is where living on the west coast can be a disadvantage (and being in Seattle an even bigger one.) I was pretty stoked that I got my r/t ticket to London on British Air (direct, no less, thank you gawd) for $525. You guys on the east coast have it made as far as airfare to europe goes.

Have fun in Malta!

Thanks, guys. Hey Joan...you better not have been in Vegas this last weekend, because I was there, too! If we missed each other...specially now that I've read the great ass thread...

Seriously, I'm looking forward to this trip...course, I still have to get my London-Malta ticket...
