so i interviewed for this sales job at the begining of november. It's for an american company, but the job is in toronto...

so last week i get a call from them asking if i am still interest... i say yes, because i am still unemployeed... so they tell me the president will be in toronto and he wants to meet me... well last friday they called me that wasn't going to happen anymore...

then yesterday they call me and tell me i am going to oklahoma to meet the presedent and take a look around the main factory... i didn't think it was going to happen... but today they sent me my flight details... so it looks like i am off to oklahoma for a day next week... just for an interview... how sweet is that!!!

the job looks sweet... company truck, expense account, phone, and 40 G's to start...

so what do you guys think... if there bringing me all they way to oklahoma, do you think there going to offer me the job. I think i am the only one they interviewed thats going down, because the regional sales rep told me he would pick me up at the airport....

i'm quite excited right now... and i really hope i get this job... i need it cause i haven't worked since july.... and also because it's a sweet job...

so now i leave wednesday morning... and get into oklahoma at noon... then i leave thursday morning at 8 am... i got to turn on my "A" game so i impress them and get the position...

wish me luck...
ed

Sounds sweet man. Maybe Rodgers and Hammerstein knew what they were talkin' about. Good luck!

Well, if they are flying you all the way down to Oklahoma instead of just saying oh well after the President couldn't make it- that means that they are definatly interested in you and that can only be a good sign-GOOD LUCK ED!

I think if they are flying you out there, that's a big hint that they are very interested. The face to face meetings are the most important. So I for sure say GOOD LUCK and don't walk out of that interview without making them damn sure that you are the person for the job!

That is so awesome!! I wish you the best of luck. Keep us up to date. I agree, if they are flying you down there after having already interviewed you, you've got a hella chance.
