yes the holiday season is here... and what better way to start the holidays then my annual christmas party. Me and all my buddies from university get together every year and have a potluck dinner. Seeing in this is my first year back in 4 year, it's going to good to see everyone.

The best part about our party is that you have to wear a christmas sweater to come... so the other day i went to my local thrift shop and got a great sweater with snow flakes on it... it's a beauty.

we eat... get hammered... go caroling... then hit the bar in our sweaters...

there always great stories the next morning!!!

anyone else do any annual things durring the seaon?

ed

Not a Christmas one, but for Thanksgiving every year and this one too of course, my family does a road race. We do either a 5K or a 5 mile run in the morning before we come back for dinner.

This was like the 4th year or so we have done it I think.

burn off all the calories before intake?

well, we don't have any traditions, but, my uncle always bakes the turkey...

my sisters and i have a tradition where we only buy one gift for one sister, so each sister only gets one gift from a sister, but itll be a nice gift (could anyone follow that?) we tried making it a "secret santa" type thing... but it's kind of hard with three people

and me and my friends since 5th grade have had a Chrisma-hannu-kwanza party at my friend Jenny's house (this is going to be our 4th year doing it.. we only started 6th grade) so I suppose that's a tradition as well...

Wow...I DO have holiday traditions...

Tonight is Jake's Christmas party at some country club - "Black tie optional which means "dress nice or die scumbags!!" So I spent hours looking for a stupid outfit to wear and he had to get a new suit coat and get it tailored. What an expensive PITA. It better be open bar!

I think our only real Christmas traditions are stealing a Christmas tree and arguing Christmas day.

Happy holidays to all!

Its funny too cause on the roadrace everyone who finishes gets a pie. So we come home with like 5 apple pies.
