Apparently there is a CBC TV show called "On the Road Again", which should be a travel show, but isn't, really. In their blurb, they promise, "here you'll meet some of the quirkiest Canadians you'll find on TV", from 7 to 7:30, Thursdays.

So if you happen to tune in sometime in the next few weeks (? don't have the exact date), you'll have the chance to meet my dad. As some of you know, he and his long time dive buddy have just published a book about marine invertebrates of the PNW. CBC got wind of it and this week and next are following them around on land and sea, filming snippets which will then air on the programme. So, if you've got nothing else to do with your Thursdays, and you can get CBC (I can't!), tell me if he's as quirky as all that.

In our family he was always kind of considered to be the normal one, but he did spend 25 years taking photos for a book about nudibranchs, bryozoa, sponges, etc so ...

Will it be available online? (our only form of interaction with the rest of the world. Sorry)

I've no idea about an online broadcast - that's our only hope of seeing it, too. We don't have a TV either, and even if we did, they don't show CBC in Germany! Well, I hope someone gets a chance to watch!
