Anything the way you got her affect the name? For example we have a dog at my parents place named Annie. She got that name because we got her from a rescue shelter where you adopt. Since we adopted her I kept calling her an orphan at first. Then she got her name...

Little Orphan Annie

But we just call her Annie.
