Well that is right everyone. After my seven month break from the working world, it was finally time to get back into the whole "working for a living" thing!!

I started my new job at a newspaper wholesale office. And yes, it really is as exciting as it sounds! Basically it is a lot of note taking, filing, computer work, listening to customers bitch on the phone AND a few times a month I get to go out on the road to collect bill payments. It isn't exactly something I will want to do for a long period of time, but I can handle it for the six months I need to.

Also, I applied for a part time job at a clothing store at the mall. I worked at the same store in college and so I know the job, it's easy, pretty decent money and a 40% discount off the clothes. And it's pretty much my favourite store.

SO a little recap of this post...I will be working my tail off for the next six months , saving most of my money for my upcoming backpacking trip AND if I get the job at the clothing store, I will be able to outfit myself for my trip at a sexy little discount.

All right people....as you were.

congrats Benna. I know working sucks, but soon enough you'll be on the road again trekking all over the place. On new adventures and making new memories and meeting so many awesome people .... wow sorry I think i've had too much coffee today.

but seriously, don't worry about it. Six months is nothing. It'll pass fast.

So Benna, how was that long tough commute this morning?

congrats and good luck Benna, hope your work doesnt listen to a radio station that begins playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving(if your in the states that is) as mine does. Makes you a little nuts when Christmas actually upon you.
