Disney is on sale right now...7 days for the price of 4, plus a $200 gift card if you travel early next year.

I think this assumes you're staying at a Disney resort though.

Both times I went, we stayed here and it was amazing!!!! There's 2... the Swan and the Dolphin... we always stayed at the Dolphin.

mickey mouse shaped belgian waffles for breakfast!!!!! :D

they always had crazy deals there. we stayed there 5 nights for like $600 on some promo, plus we got free park hoppper tix. I doubt you could get anything like that now.

My mom is obsessssssed with Disney. I've literally been 7 or 8 times. It's always a fun time though. One of my friends from college got married in Disney World and we all got drunk in MGM for the reception.

Would you not support the European Disney land.

Ticket Taker at Euro Itchy & Scratchy Land: (with French accent) Hello? Itchy & Scratchy Land - open for business! Who are you to resist it, huh?! C'mon, my last paycheck bounced! My children need wine! (yells in French)

^^ My friend went to the European Disney and he said it was really weird. He said that the ceiling of It's a Small World looked like an office buildings'.

Probably instructions to stay far away from Epcot's UK Pavilion. And reminders to wear extra sunscreen.

I went to Disney a bunch when I was little. A few years ago I was in Orlando for work and we went over to Celebration Island which is geared towards adults and has bars, night clubs, and a comedy club.

Is that the same as Pleasure Island? I've been to Pleasure Island over int he Disney AO, it's a bunch of bars and stuff.

We also broke up the monotony of the Disney/Universal Studios by driving 45 min to Cocoa Beach (straight up the b-line expressway!) and checked out Ron Jon's Surf Shop and then we also did a tour of Haunted Orlando.

Ahhh I wanna go back!

Yes, thats it. I misspoke. Pleasure Island. Nice catch. Celebration was the town I stayed in down there (which is a story unto itself - its like the Truman show. Disney built Celebration, brought in businesses, no chain stores though, pipes music through fake rocks, coordinate fake snow around Christmas, there are rules on the colors you can paint your house, its totally bizarre).

I feel really bad to have hijacked this thread with the whole Disney thing! Sorry!

Let me tell you, Disney in Hong Kong is super weird. It just didn't feel like the most magical place in the world!!

(Obviously I didn't feel bad enough for the thread hijack to actually stop talking about it).
