So, with the putting of my computer up on eBay for auction (I have a REALLLLLY nice computer) the results ought to be enough to switch to a nice little laptop (for the road!) and have enough left over to push me over the top of my savings for my trip!
So here I am, obsessively reloading my eBay auction and waiting for a bid to come in...
It is pretty impressive what you can do in about two months worth of discipline-- save for an entire six month trip, with three months left over to save for my loan payments and stuff while I'm gone! Of course, I still have my Eurail pass and stuff to save for, but the day-to-day expenses ($50/day budgeted) will be totally paid for!
Woo hoooooooooo!

Well now, I AM still here till March, just relieved to know that I will indeed be going, barring any huge disasters.
I just booked my first week's worth of hostels in Paris tonight too. Planning is such a huge part of the fun, ya know? It makes it part of my every day life, and that's awesome.
Someone's gotta blaze the trail for where you go in 2005, my evil brotha!
