To quit smoking, hit the gym more, lose weight, be more forgiving, save more money, be nicer, travel more, stop swearing, to relax, be more spiritual, pay off more debt, be more romantic, start a business, quit your job, volunteer more, be more organized, spend more time with family, stop wasting time, eat healthier, learn another language, watch less tv, study harder, be proactive, etc...

For me, it to continue looking for ways to work smarter and not harder. To continue to commit to my words by taking action and to always stand by my words. To continue to educate and help other travelers with tips, suggestions, and advice, by spreading the word on Travelpunk.com (make that your resolution too! hahaha ). To stay focused on my goals, both short and long term. To finish editing my movie and shooting the remaining shots.

And yes, to more than half of those things at the top!

What's your Resolution?

This year I want to get a clinical stage with the Inuits, at the top of Québec's map, in Nunavik...There's no way they won't give me this job! Not be at home for my birthday in may...In automn, after my stage, I want to travel Europe, no plans yet but I'll start with London and see what happens afterwards...Oh and I want to get my abs back for may...Training starts january 2nd, I really need to move more because with all this studying, it's hard to stay in shape. I also need to keep my place cleaner...Hehehh! Damn dishes!

I want to drink less. (though i think that will be hard cuz i'm going to be backpacking for most of this year). I've already been working out for about a month and a half now so I guess i just want to continue that. I also want to be smarter budgeting my money. B)

In 2004 I will travel more than I did last year. Won't be too hard since I didn't go anywhere last year.

I already have my tickets to Mexico for February so at least I will be going somewhere. And I will be going to Greece for at least 2 weeks in September, no tickets yet but this trip is 90% in the bag. I may even sneak a long weekend to Vegas in there somewhere in the late fall.

ok....stop eating red meat, eat less sweets (which will never happen...mmm...cake...), get me a job and make some monnay for school and moreso travelling, quit wasting so much money (alcohol, shows, clothes (aw!), and concerts/cultural stuff (....wait..not that one)), learn to play my guitar, actually do some studying, apply for univ. money, learn to fence (yea, right), get back into Judo or maybe learn Kempo or whatever it's called, get a drivers licence!?, go camping at Scotch Creek with my buds and my cuz as much as I can, go to GP for spring break OR California, go to PEI, and cure world hunger. Umm...biggest resolution, try and 'stay in touch' with my friends after grad. No drifting!

I resolve to...

Quit drinking (not that its a problem but a good 22 of the last 35 days of last year were spent drinking, so time to slow it down), exercise gotta lose that gut, pay off debt, go to vegas, enjoy good times with friends and hopefully make many new ones.

I feel ya on the drinking thing DIO and Sijuki......

Mine:

Not drink so much, meet lots of people, more investments, budget my money better, refresh myself on the French I know, not waste quite SO much time partying and picking up women (doubtful, but hey, its worth a shot), become a kung fu master , be able to do a one handed fingertip handstand, read more books, be more spiritual, be more humble, not drive so fast, go on more camping/waterskiing/road/beach trips, get better at playing the drums, get back into soccer, get better at playing pool, get better at playing chess, eat extremely healthy, and figure out how I can benefit humanity as a whole...

I HAVE FAITH THAT THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR FOR ME!!!

Beta, there you go buddy... That one is a few years away for me. I would be happy to place in the World Series of Poker. But the final table would definately be nice.

Keep working hard this year to get closer to my financial goals. Stay focus on the goals I want to accomplish. Improve my-self in anyway I can. Have a great year, and have some good times.

be able to do a one handed fingertip handstand

Have you seen the touring Shaolin Wheel of Life show? There's even one monk who can stand on only his two index fingers. ...he believes that within the next year or so he'll be able to do it on one finger.

I've actually already seen a video of an old Shaolin monk who could do a 1-finger stand (with his feet resting against a wall tho. He could also poke a hole thru a hanging sandbag with his finger.

I'm still working on simple handstands, myself. You have to really be able to straighten your body and stuff to hold it still. It's hard enough on your palms - fingertips would be, um, difficult.
