So, all of a sudden a monsoon-style downpour started...only it hasn't stopped for like the past two hours. The roads are actually flooding over into the sidewalk, and there's cars stalled everywhere...my car almost stalled out on the way home from Tel Aviv, and almost got into a couple accidents.

The downpour is still going, and the desert is definitely not designed to handle this. Fuck. :D

So, I guess I'll be playing around on travelpunk a while today!

...and here I thought I was going to the beach today.

Ahhh, flash flooding... Nothing beats it. Makes me want one of these for the Porkchop Express:

BTW, Goy, gotta be VERY careful driving in deep/standing water. IF you hydrolocked your motor, be prepared to replace it. Not a fun experience, IMO.

Glad to hear you made it safely. I would have been tempted to head out with a little raft.

the benefits of living in a First World country! hahaha... here its the same: whater just fills the entire cty, everything gets flooded, and then the water disapears and its like it hadn't happened at all (only you have to wait for the water to go down by some miracle of God, the sun comes out and dries everything out, or u wait and wait and wait until it stops raining.... ) Hehehe imagine that, the firemen taking care of it....
