well as far looks ill just take your word on it.......didnt really need 2 know that ..good 2 hear that a semi-celeb is both humble and personalable.....so many get big egos, or just become overwhelmed by mobs of people that they lose touch with society as a whole.......but he owns the whole zoo? i didnt realize anyone could own a whole zoo.....maybe its just different in the usa where the city or state owns zoo's------

I don't know if you guys have seen Jack Hanna on TV. He is a frequent guest on David Letterman -- always bringing some batch of animals to unnerve Dave. Anyway, he's the director of the zoo in Columbus, OH. He's real good friends with a coworker of mine at the airline.
Well, we were at the zoo's Winter Lights event last week and were talking to Jack. Like Steve, he's very personable and friendly, and likes his beer. He seemed half snockered at that point. Anyway, one of our group pulled out her cell phone and called her girlfriend in Boston, who is a big Jack Hanna fan. She then handed it to Jack, who was unable to convince the friend that it was really him -- she thought it was a prank her friend was pulling on him. Jack was hilarious, though, saying "It IS Jack Hanna, you know from Animal Adventure" (or whatever the TV show is) "and David Letterman..."
So, one of my claims to fame is partying with Jack Hanna a couple times a year...
Of course, I've decide that I'll REALLY be famous when I'm overseas somewhere, and someone comes up to me and says, "Hey, aren't you Worldwidemike from the website?"
Hasn't happened yet, though...

yeah that croc dude is starting a new show, its kinda like survivor only the people have to stay there for three months or something like that to take care of the animals and get downright dirty and dangerous. It is supposed to take place at his zoo. I read about it in the paper recently.

Wong name:
I can only tell you what I've been told from the staff at Australia Zoo, but all the profits that Steve Irwin makes from the zoo, go back into the zoo.
Apparently he lives in a normal house, drives a normal car and lives a normal life! He sounds like a really genuine guy.
The staff seemed to really love him! Of course, they could just be getting paid extra to say that!? I dunno, but I'm happy thinking of him as a genuine, nice, down to earth guy, SO DONT RUIN IT FOR ME!!!!! Please.

That guy is hilarious! I love observing people so passionate about what they do! He's supposed to be the most well paid entertainer from Australia, beating out kidman, crowe, and gibson. I'm sure most likely due to his shows and his endorsements where you'll find his likeness everywhere.
Way to go, Hayley! High-5!
