I just wanted to vent out how much I hate my job. I am a bar tender in a crappy bar in a small town. The music is really bad, my boss annoys me and I have to wear a stupid orange shirt. The locals are drunken, obnoxious and at present the closest thing I have as proof of inbreeding (thats the majourity, some are nice) and it doesn't even pay that well. The kicker is, I took this job because it paid better then my old one, quitting a job I liked! Ah well, on the bright side by feb I hope to be in Brazil doing the carnival.
Anyone else hate their job?

I hate my present situation, but don't have a job to complain about. Jake and I came to Chicago in the beginning of September. School had already started so I have four months off. Sounds great, right? Well, we live with my sister/brother in law and their 2 kids and three dogs. Guess who gets to play nanny during the day? I hate it. I am so sick of the kids (especially the youngest who does nothing but whines and cries). There was really no point in me getting a job as I'd just be quitting in January and don't have a car yet (Jake uses my car). So, while I don't have a crappy job, I have a crappy situation right now and the "free" (not really free when you consider how much I watch these damn kids) rent doesn't compensate.

Just smack the kids round a little bit. That'll learn 'em from whining...
And if it doesn't work, smack the parents around some

I agree, proper application of violence on the true source of the problem may not actually solve the problem, but it's certainly gratifying!

I know how that shit goes... its terrible and you just go crazy and get lazy.
I don't hate my job, but I hate the situation it is in... I work a whole 16 hours this week... how damned retarded is that?!? But I am just holding out for February when I open my shop. Then, let the good times roll.
