So I think it would be a kick ass costume to go as Jesus and most people I have told have agreed with me, however there has been some concern expressed for my safety from others. That’s where the wise and insightful tpunks come in; I need y'alls help on this one.
Any other suggestions on cheap costumes welcomed.

Though I consider myself a Christian-I DO consider myself one with a sence of humor so I am not sure. I like halloween andI certainly would not kick your ass over a halloween costume. I guess like a lot of things I leave it up to the individual-I would not dress up like Jesus for a halloween costume but if you want to its all good.
Sorry, this probably did not help

Last year I saw a girl dressed up as a pregnant nun. I think Jesus is fine. Plus, it is just halloween. If people get offended, they shouldn't be out!

dude i would jump on you like a priest on a 10 year old and then I would beat the ever living shit out of you for mockin my faith and pretending to be the savior of the ever-loving world.
asshole. I can't even believe you would consider such a stupidly brash stunt as dressing up as jesus. Thats about as funny as dressing up like the late John Paul II. You are an awful person that will burn in hell.
I'm just jakin ya man. Have fun.

(he was telling a really bad joke or something...) and Blake (jesus) replies with : "...yes my child?" most hilarious thing evaaaaaaaaa.
i wouldnt be offended (atheist) but some others probably would.... but theyd probably be inside.... away from halloween...

I agree that if people get offended they shouldn't be out. It's all for fun... I mean if you put a kick me sign on your back I could understand more... but all in all it's just a historical figure.

i have a friend back in chicago that dressed up as jesus for halloween. he and his friends even made a cross out of lumber. they then took pictures of my friend in his convertible with the cross in the back seat. it was halarious!
