You can always tell it's a hoax if this happens - how the hell would MSN know how many people you fwded the email to? It's just not probable (I would say "possible" but I'm sure somebody would debunk me!) to track emails like that. Plus, I think MSN knows it'd lose a lot of advertising due to the fact that a LOT of people would stop using their services if they had to pay.

There has NEVER been a legitimate email that asks you to forward it on. Even those petitions for good causes are a hoax, because the whole add-your-name-and-forward thing never has any legitimacy once submitted.

Also, always check this stuff with Snopes.com

The only legitimate (misspelled, I know..) e-mail notices from Msn are the ones that next to the "new mail" yellow envelope have a little msn butterfly, otherwise, its just another forward.

Hope this helped, and by the way, not only cant they track how many emails u've sent, but I got the same mail last year ad well... I'm happy to say i'm still not paying.

I get that email every couple of months its funny because the same person sends it to me every time you think shed realize by now its just junk
