Ok folks Im working on a project (I'll provide details at a later date) and need the help of as many T-PUNKERS as I can get!

Here is my first question...

What cities that you've visited had the cheapest booze? And if you can remember the name of the pub or club please list that also

Your response is greatly appreciated

Hmmmm.....Well, in Spain, the drinks at nightclubs can be astronomical, but when you walk into any bar/cervezeria, a glass of beer is like like .80 cents.

Tiajuana, was cheaper than the states, but nothing to really write home happy about.

In Vegas, and any casino in Nevada (as you know ) drinks are free when you gamble. Can't get any cheaper than that! But then again, I haven't walked away from the gaming tables, that often, winning money

However, the only thing that I need to get my fix, is a cheap bottle ($2.99) of red wine at Trader Joes , and that's right here in LA

I know that Eastern Europe is pretty cheap, so anyone thata been there, pony up some details

In prague in a supper market I found a can beer to be 8 cents.

also one time in prague that I went out with some friends, we ordered 4 pints and a glass of wine and it was like $2.00 for all of that.

But the cheapest I think was sneaking into the heineken beer and drinking for free! :D

the place i drank the cheapest-------ok everyone liston up...........was stealing liquor from my parents cabinet................ha,ha well that other people parents liquor too......
i think the funniest thing was when my parents dont drink much so all the bottles where like 5 years old and everyone was getting crazy -- at x-mas and my mom broke open the liquor cabinet and i had tell her that all the vodka was really water......... :D she laughed about it but she was sooo shocked that i would go to those lengths to drink under age........

Hahah! WN!

I did the same thing, exept I didn't even fill the bottles with water, we just let them there, empty in the cabinet My parents never noticed, the empty bottles are still there, 10 years and still standing!

The parents of one of my friends used to make their own wine, so we would just steal some bottles...They knew we did that, but never said anything about it! Hahahah!

Oh man! We would go the a little store where the owner was blind and could not read our IDs! Once, we started speaking english to a poor little cashier, she could not understand what we were saying, so we just bought the beer and ran away before she knew what was happening! There was nothing we didn't try to buy our alcool...One of my friend even put a fur coat and pretended she was like a lady, and got away with it!

These were the good days! Now it's too easy, there's no challenge left! Anyways, I'm way out of the subject!!!

In Greece, Crete Island, I bought a bottle of very good wine in a grocery store for 3Euros, and everyone told me this was a very expensive bottle!!!! You get a really big beer in Bulgaria (my favorite is the Zagorka) for 1CAN$. In some bars in Québec, there are ladies nights where you pay let's say 10CAN$ and get all you can drink alcool! Hahahha!

Prague. A beer at what I think was called the Imperial Cafe was 20 cents. That was for roughly a 12 oz one...if you wanted the big one you had to splurge for 35 cents. No other place I've been to came close to Prague for cheap beer!

There are a few bars/nightclubs here in town that have 25 cent beer nights all the time. I suppose that would rank as pretty cheap. Of course, it is going to be Skunkweiser or Swiller Lite, but it is beer nontheless. I go for quality instead of quantity. But it is a good place to take a shitload of idiot 'friends' and get them plastered on the cheap.

Yeesh, can you two gloat about it a little more? Hey, we can't help it! We buy you a drink , and hope to get a little . And who knows? If we're really lucky, you'll start looking at us like .

Course, that probably just means you need another drink -- not that we're winning your heart!

Sooooooo...can I buy you ladies a drink???

Well, Ok, but just one beer (I need to study!)!

TUI, working on a round the world booze cruise? Can I go?

Cheap drinks...I don't know Russia seems pretty good, not as good as the Czech Republic from what I'm hearing from the well-traveled board members, but still pretty good. From markets, you can get a two liter bottle of decent, strong, beer for under a buck US, and "premium" bottles and cans can be snagged at around $0.35-0.50. A bottle of champagne is cheap and relatively good, 2 bucks, and vodka, is well....cheap . In restaurants and clubs you might pay about US $0.65 for a half a liter and a shot of vodka for under 0.50.

One time me and two friends took two rounds of Tequila. My friend turned to me and asked how much money I had. Those 6 shots cost 20 dollars, which meant my planned beer drinkin' and getting drunk on the cheap went out the window, as did most of my money. So anything exotic or imported will be about the same price as in the US at least. I had enough money to buy vodka, but then my friends came through and bought me several dollar glasses of Whiskey, Scotch and Cognac. Overall a good, but pricey night.

About covering for the ladies: if they are nice, I don't mind, especially if they wouldn't mind being mustered into helping get my alcohol addled body home in one piece.

(There is always a catch :bomb: )

By the way, Moc, nice new avatar...you look all "dangerous"...

Oh, and TP: What the heck is this emoticon??? :eat: All I can think of watching it is...well, you know...

Hehehe!

I've changed my avatar to a girl from the G.I. Joe team...I thought since I'm a TP ranger, I might as well look like one! Hahahaha! I chose her because I have the same short hair, and I used to wear army clothes just like that when I worked in the woods!

Thanks, mocassain. All you need to do is take the drink from my hand and give a solid kick to the cab. It is better than me deciding to explore all the alleys and sidestreets back to wherever I intend to crash.

...and what is this Diomoc invasion ™?

Is getting drunk phase one? That sounds like the best way to invade and would be enjoyable to witness, let alone to actually participate.

...and over the horizon an army arrives. An army of two singing "The Internationale" out of tune; with a raised beer in one hand and a banner in the other.

I wish you and Diorama a successful invasion without hangovers!

Yeah Npabga! Hahah! Finally some support on our invasion plans!
Yeah, getting drunk is part of every phase of the plan...Phase I is called 'Wine attack' phase II is well, I'm not telling, our plans shall remain secret...

But just so you know, I never sing out of tune!
