I found a roommate and a place to live! I'm off the damn couch with 5 people in a 2 bedroom apartment. Can you just feel the excitement.

Anyone ever have that transition period with no place to live and so you crash on your little brother's couch, and then his roommates girlfriend (actually just the girl he's sleeping with) just shows up from out of town one day and won't leave for a month solid without paying rent, then your little brother tells his girlfriend she can move in too, and the roommates girl ends up being a crazy annoying messy byatch, and you're just the guy on the couch with no say in anything..........AAAAHHHHHH. I feel better. Has that ever happened to anyone?

I've been the guy on the couch...

But not with as much drama as you have, apparently

Oh well, there's still plenty of time in life for me to spend more time as "the guy on the couch." Especially when I go to Europe. Anyone wanna translate it into all the European languages for me?

Good luck at the new place....I can't wait until I am actually settled down somewhere. My stuff is all either in storage or in various relatives houses, so it will be so nice to actually have everything together sometime in the future.

Be a nice roommate, clean up after yourself and put the toilet seat down and all that stuff!

Friend of a friend. The best kind of roommate. Good guy, real reliable, active (not at home always) and agreable personality. Not a good friend so no friendship to ruin.

yes, i think anyone who's had roommates knows your pain..and gets your excitement.

I've had my share of roommies from hell and random people crashing on my floor. I've had people throw up all over my stuff (I'm not talking about during parties...this would occur on a wednesday night). I once had a roommie invite her bf (not even bf...some guy she was sleeping with) to live with us...and it got to the point where he had his own key and was bring his gun waving friends over at all hours to party--whom as thanks, knocked holes the size of bowling balls into our walls. this is one thing i DON'T miss about college....

Sounds like that will be good. I mean everyone has little quirks you learn to live with but otherwise at least there is no friendship to lose.
