Seriously, I don't mind spiders...as long as they keep there distances. In Belize there were freaking huge spiders!

I don't mind spiders in Belize either. As long as I'm in Lithuania!

When we first got married, we lived in the Mojave desert. My husband kept suggesting I go for walks during the day while he was at work (having told me about the brown recluses under the house and rattlesnakes out in the desert). I wondered if he was rethinking the wedding...

Anyway, I declined until one day in October he took me out to show me how safe it was. "Everything is already in hibernation now," he reassured me. "Everything?" I replied, "including that?" And pointed to a two inch diameter (with legs, of course) black tarantula crawling along a nearby patch of sand. I know they're no big deal, but it did kind of undermine his credibility...

Vancouver, Jamie. It's warmer than Wisconsin in winter, cooler in the summer, and none of those nasty poisonous things...

for some reason, there are these spiders on the farm i work at that love horse shit. so if you walk through the field, you have spiders all over the place. and thos ebig yellow ones, the garden spiders, people try telling me that they are gentle and stuff. NO FUCKING WAY.

i was at a pet store once with an old girl friend and she was holding a tarantula and kept telling me to hold it, and i refused, and she started walking towards me to put it on and i slapped her hand away like i was a little girl. i was kicked out of the pet store after that.

We have brown recluses all over here in Indiana. just look for the violin on the back.

p.s. I FUCKING HATE SPIDERS and anything with more than 7 legs....in fact the more legs you have the less I like you.... centipedes make me want to throw up....

Elixer I would have been right behind you getting kicked out of the pet store....

We used to see the occasional Black Widow inside the house when I lived in the eastern part of the state. I just let them be.
