Just wondering how many of you smoke.
Myself, I'm recently trying to quit... I've cut down quite a bit, to a cigarette every few days.

I heard like, 1 in 4 people in Europe smoke.

I'm living with the smoking ban in Ireland now, I am a smoker, and hated the idea of the ban. It's easy to live with though I'd say I've cut down alot I only have maybe 3 ciggies during the day at work I'd say it's made me cut down a good bit.

It's supposed to be on the cards for most European countrys.

I'd probably give it up for good if I didn't smoke hash.

I only smoke after about my 8th drink and that doesn't really happen that often. I'm one of the social votes!!! And only if I can mooch the smoke of someone else...hell if I'm paying for it! ha ha. I'm a horrible drunk.

I fall into casual/social. I've been smoking on and off (mostly on ) for 8 years. I want to quit completely (one day) but flavor country can be so damn enticing! Especially sitting in a bar having a drink or two with friends. Ah, there's nothing like a marb light and a dirty martini.... oh man, what have you done to me????

I smoke but I've been trying to quit since we found out my wife is pregnant. I'd be happy if I could get it down to my drinking level (occasionally). it's hard....

yeah, i noticed a lot more people smoking in europe than in canada. as a smoker I enjoyed the freedom.

Good luck with that bud. Yeah I admit.. quitting 100% is damn hard.....hard getting out of the "once in a while" mentality.

Me, I like drinking a Canadian with a pack of Belmonts on a nice porch.... =)
Or rather, i USED to...

I don't, never have, never will. Yuck. I grew up with parents who smoked and a grandmother who smoked and I absolutely despised going somewhere and reeking of the shit. Fortunately both of my parents quit about 10 years ago or more-- and that was after smoking between 1-2 packs a day for decades. So anyone who wants to quit but thinks they can't do it, well, I'm not going to be an asshole and try to tell an addicted person that it's "no big deal"-- but if my ex-sorta-hippie parents can do it, I think probably just about anyone can, lol.

My best friend smokes a LOT. I give her a little bit of shit here and there but I don't nag her about it. Although one time I could have kicked her ass to Mars-- she was trying to quit using the patch, and I caught her sneaking cigarettes WHILE WEARING IT more than once. I think her ears are still blistered from our refreshing little discussion about that.

I quit almost 3 months ago but after my 5th to 30th drink I just can't help but light up... oh well I never crave them throughout the day any more

I feel into the social one. If I'm hanging out with friends and some decide to go out for a cigarette then I'll bum one. I've only bought a pack once for myself and ended up smoking two (because I was stressed) and giving it to someone. I smoke something else a lot though. I'm trying to quit, but yeah with Bonnaroo coming up it won't stick. Plus I tend to date potheads.

I never have smoked and never will. I watched my grandfather die of lung cancer/pneumonia when I was 10. My mom has cancer (she doesn't know it yet but she has the same cough my grandpa had before he died) and I haven't seen her in 5 years (and don't care to either, she smokes a quarter every 2 days). I am about as anti-smoking as you get since it has affected my life in a big way. Never touched any other drug except alcohol.

used to smoke, but then I realised that the only time i really enjoy a smoke is when i have a beer in the other hand, they just go so well together, so now i only do it when i'm at the pub. I'll stop it completely someday.

to help you all quit just think...a pack is what $4 on a cheap day....a pack a day + $28 a week.... x 52 weeks = $1456

one year of saving the money you would spend on cigs is a nice chunk or traveling change
