Thanks. I know when you smoke there are miniscule particals that linger afterwards. I always wondered why people didn't like the smoking rooms. I never reazlied people literally had allergic reactions.
Never mind the fact that sometimes smoking rooms have such a deep, ingrained stench of smoke, that for non-smokers it is really hard to deal with...even if your not allergic.

Yeah...I usually can tell even though the hotel promises me its non smoking...the walls are also yellowish and look grimey. I usually look up at the top of the wall where cleaners can't reach to tell.

Same here! I love cigars... especially Romeo Y Julietas...
but, what an expensive habit! Damn...

I've always heard europeans smoke like mad... I wonder how European cigarettes taste like versus North American cigarettes.
Anyone ever smoked Du Maurier or Belmonts? We have em here in Canada

The hotels we booked for were very nice. There was never really a problem with an outlandish smell. Then again, it probably helps that people spent most of their night in a casino and not much smoking up the rooms. And yes, all of the casinos were smoking.

Oh yeah, for all you US smokers (don't know if you're eligible if you're not a us citi) - if you sign up with marb or camel, you get coupons in the mail for like 10 $1.00 off coupons. I htink it's like smoker sign up or something. I just got a bunch of $3 off two packs. I have hubby and me both signed up (he smokes regularly). I get some extra crap mail but I don't care. Oh I get things for free chew too.. haha give those to my brothers.

Stoagies i like too and they are what gets me sometimes but really I buy a 4 pack for like 2 bucks and I have it for months. It's not really like a all the time thing. They are usually for special events. Either nights I am sitting in the backyard with the fire going and everything feels like it is unfolding great or something I will. Or when I go camping I do because it is like a tradition type thing. Stuff like that.

^ lol. reason why i will never smoke a cigarette. I hate em. Hate the smell and the possibility of cancer later on. I'm not a diehard I HATE SECOND HAND SMOKE person, but the smell does irk me a bit.

Not me, i'm an unfaithful whore when it comes to smokes because i usually only smoke other people's so i'll take whatever i can get. However, on the odd occasion when i do buy my own i always go with a pack of good ole Peter Jackson extra mild or super mild if i wanna save my lungs just a little.

Haha....this post made me laugh for a couple of reasons...the first is that he called himself an "unfaithful whore when it comes to smokes" And the other is that he buys extra mild or super mild smokes, purely for the reaon of "saving his lungs" Umm...I won't touch that one!

As is probably figured, I am a non-smoker and have never been a smoker. I've taken a puff or two in high school, but never really saw the point or was tempted to become a smoker. I think it stinks so much on your clothes and is just a little too nasty.
