It looks like I'm getting assigned to a project for my company that will have me relocated to the Bahamas (Abacos) for the next year...

I will be on a 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule.. so the good thing is that I will be able to travel my ass off.. The bad thing is I'm stuck on an island that only has 23 people that live on it... :greenguy:

So I will now be the Caribbean Guru
(flex) Always kicking it island time ghetto fab!

Bitchin!!!

I wasn't a big fan of Nassau (waaaaay too touristy), but being on an island of only 23 people? That sounds great! Sounds like one island we stopped on, where we talked to the locals and they said there are probably only about 25 people living in it - other than dealing with cruiseship passengers when they came in, they spent their free time jetskiing and diving. Doesn't sound half bad to me!

lol... well. to answer some of the questions.. The male to female ratio is always changing.. The good thing is that the island I'm going to be on is there for a cruise line, and there are 3 call days a week on the island. So we will have 2000+ people on the island on those days for like 8 hours.

The last time I was out living on this island was back in 1999 and there was not to many girls on it.. and the ones that where there, lets just say they should stay on an island and away from large populations of people.. lol

However, I will spend the first month or 2 all over the Bahamas collecting for our population. I'm not sure where that will be at (depending on where the rays are).

Oh and Molson... there is always a party at Jives house

Sounds like a great gig. So, you guys go collect the stingrays and transport them to this cruise line's island? Did I read that right?

I thought the Abacos were cool...I went to Great Guana Cay (not far from Marsh Harbor).

Cuz, you know, waking up to this on the way to work every day can hardly suck...

Yeah, we will collect around the abacos.. we are trying to do it close to the island itself..

I will be out there a year.. well 6 weeks on 2 off.. for a year.. but I think it will be good.. I need to calm down the party'in and this will be a good break from it... (or at least regulate it to once every 6 weeks)
