Well last night, I was out with some friends. We went to a restaurant here in Saskatoon named Earl's and hung out there for a few hours, and then we went on to a place called The Coachman. While we were sitting in the Coachman, my friend's alarm on his new(er) souped-up Prelude went off twice. Turns out, there were these two jackasses who were fucking with all our cars. They jumped on the roof of my mom's Taurus & dented it in...it's probably thousands of dollars of damage! We didn't notice the damage at first until after we had left the Coachman to go someplace else...and we only noticed it on the other guy's car, not mine. Anyways, when we noticed the damage to the other guy's car, he called the bartender to see if the same people were still there cause we had just left, and they went back to confront the guy. Ended up having this jackass take a few swings at one of my friends, so the guy was arrested last night. Now, the damage is very noticeable but for some reason, I just didn't think to check mine for damage. Before anyone says "Well, how much did you have to drink" like the cop did...my step-dad didn't notice the caved-in roof this morning when he left for work and my mom didn't notice it when she got IN and DROVE the car to pick up my little sister. It was until she was sitting in the school parking lot doing nothing and looked up at the roof, she noticed the damage. Anyways, we had an officer out today after my mom noticed the damage to start a report, and this afternoon, the CSI guy came out and took photographs of the footprints to try to match it up to the jackass they arrested.
Anyways, that's the end of my rant. It just sucks that this happened, but thankfully, as long as the cops can make their case, insurance covers it all.

That totally blows. People are so retarded. At work we can't even park our cars outside 'cause people's windshield wipers keep getting ripped RIGHT off! We have a video camera at the front entrance but there only 1 parking spot right in front of it. That's what I get for working in the crappy end of town!

Man, I love that show!!!! Was it Grissom?
Sorry...
I'm really sorry to hear that. I had my car broken into a couple months ago...it was also keyed last year. So I know all about car damage

maaaaaan! what the hell is it with people messing with cars? i've had the drivers side window on my car broken out on three ocassions, had a huge dent kicked in the side of it buy my bastard "baby's daddy", and SOMEOME, whom most of you all know on here but i won't mention her name, has the interesting ability to burn a hole in my upholstery with a cigarette every time she gets into my car. i'm sorry, but i couldn't do that kind of shit (well, except burning cigarette holes in other people's upholstery- that can be a true accident, right not named bestest bestest friend of mine?) ha ha, nobody got that........

That blows.. I'm still trying to find a way to electrify the sheetmetal of my car, ever since some fuckers were laying on my old car's hood and drinking 40's in LA... But maybe this will cheer you up: linky to craigslist

haha, thanks for the link omisan.
it cheers me up a bit. thankfully, it seems like all of the damage can be repaired with no out-of-pocket cost for myself or my parents and no change in their insurance rates. however, it's going to take time, and plenty of paperwork...for one idiot's few minutes of complete stupidity, i've got to spend probably weeks and hours of my time to fix the problem. hopefully, SGI will go after him for every dime and bankrupt his ass.
anyways, thanks for everyone's supportive comments.
