Guys! I know most of you probably don't care but I wanted to start a topic anyway! There isn't anything that gets me as excited as traveling does, but a few things that come damn close and of course U2 is one of them!
NEW ALBUM ON NOVEMBER 23rd in the US!!!!!!!!!!!! (Nov. 22nd in the UK)
WORLD TOUR NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STARTING IN THE US AND GOING EVERYWHERE! YES EVEN AUSTRALIA AND BRAZIL, NOT JUST N. AMERICA AND EUROPE THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET EXCITED PEOPLE!
Since unfortunately I cannot travel for at least a year, this is going to get me through the year! Something to look forward to! If you have never been to a U2 concert you should seriously consider it! It is money well spent I promise you, even though I am biased! Few bands in the world can put on shows like they put on. I saw them twice in 2001 and both shows were incredible! I am already planning my strategy for securing floor tickets and hoping it is not an impossible task. Now, there's a remote possibility I could get to the UK in the summer, so maybe I can see them in two different countries......hmmmm......
Thanks for reading my nonsense guys....I am SOOO excited I just had to post about this!
Your U2 friend,
Lauren

Hey Crious, the dates aren't out yet but I will post them, even though no one else seems to care. How sad. Anyway, it will probably be at least two months before they announce them. I'm all over it though!
Love,
Lauren

I think I'm gonna blow part of my next paycheck on the U2 iPod. My current 5GB just isn't enough, and dammit, it's black and red so it matches my car and all my snowboarding gear. (And it comes w/ a cert for $50 off the upcoming U2 box set.)

Ahhh, if only U2 wasn't the favorite band of the person I hate most in this world (that I know personally), I'd definitely be a fan cuz I like their music but......oh well

Jason, that's not a good enough reason to not like them!

Guys, cross your fingers (and toes!) for me!!!!! I am entering a contest where I could potentially get to fly to NY next weekend to get my own private concert and hang out with them while they are in the city for SNL!!! Oh my god, I could die a happy woman if I get to go!!!
