As I was rushing through Times Square last weekend, I spotted a fellow T-punker - or at least someone with a Travel-Punk t-shirt on. I would have stopped to chat if I hadn't been in such a hurry.
I was so excited that I was telling my friends that I had just seen a 'punk', but they just didn't understand.
Anyone walking around Times Square last Saturday in the evening?

While we were cruising the streets of Philly on Friday night, we had a couple people stop us and ask about Travelpunk. Hopefully, they'll pop in for a look and join! I also had a family quiz me about it in the aiport. The college age daughte was particularly interested since she was getting ready to go overseas to study for six months in the next year or two. She wanted advice on what country (which prompted a shocked Mom when she started talking Thailand, Cambodia, et al!!!).
And no, guys, I wasn't hitting on her...

I didn't have anyone stop me while I was in Philly or Toronto. But while in Toronto someone gave me some promotional post it notes, so I did what I do best and wrote Travelpunk.com on all of them and posted them all over Toronto.

how about a *FREE* T-Punk Tshirt for a UK promoter (me), see your dazzled by my dizzying words already, come world, enjoy, join the world of TRAVEL PUNK ! Im preety sad to see theres no cotton or nylon T-Punk badges, i wanted to sew one to my back pack, can anyone fix one up, i reckon u should sell them, get a few hundred in, we can all sew them to our back packs and meet n greet each other that bit easier on the road, im going to Thailand end of the year ill definetly be wearing a T-Punk tshirt if no badge is available by then, might lead to a lovely chat with a lovely lady .....
" Hey whats with the T-punk tshirt-"
30 minutes later
" ok take the t-shirt off" (the one i got free)
