Default African rally race

So I put a post up quite awhile ago about my plan to be in the B2 rally from Budapest to Bamako this year. I had all the money to go and I submitted a proposal to a T.V. production company to make a documentary. They got back to me and agreed to fund the trip and film it! I was super excited because I was going to be a travel show host and it freed up the money I had saved. With my new found money I decided to be responsible and pay down my debt.

This all sounds awesome and it was; except I just got all my funding pulled! The production company out of no where axed all the documentaries it was planning on making and I meanwhile have already spent my trip funds. Fortunately for my travel partner, he still has just enough cash to go, but now I'm green with envy because I have to stay at home while he gets to go on an amazing trip that I planned.

The moral of this story, always have a plan B or you'll get stuck at home rather than having an adventure.

Its pretty doubtful, they said they were canceling all their documentary projects and would not be pursuing the genre in the future.

At least you've got some of your debt paid down. Now you're even closer to true freedom
