Alright, well . . . I've been swaying back and forth on whether or not I should do it, but I've decided that I'm in. So I'll be studying in Mainz, Germany next year. And the sweetest part about it, is that the semester doesn't start until late October, so that gives me 4.5 months of summer!! Hahaha . . . so I'm trying to find an internship in East Africa, hopefully Ethiopia.

So . . . if any TPunks are in Mainz, you've got a pad and kickass guide, if that's not too much to say. I used to live in Wiesbaden (across the river), and I know the area like the back of my hand, and all the dirty pickup lines you'll need.

So far no luck on the internship . . . I refuse to pay insane prices to a middle man, and the organizations themselves aren't responding . . . grrrrrrrr

I'm set, going to Germany to study. But I'm still kinda wishywashy in my feelings about it. I've been traveling so much the last few years, already lived in Germany (although in the Army, very different experience), and really loving it here in California. The school's great, I'm doing very well, I love my house . . . I dunno, I kinda wanna stay too. Make me feel better about going to Germany!

Well, we're in DC this year, so Germany's off the list at the moment, but we're heading back over the pond soon, so may take some time to visit old friends and neighbours en route, or as a change of pace.
