I guess ultimately the only thing that can cure a broken heart is time and experience. My feeling is though that, if one has to wait for a heart to heal than why not do so on the road? It also gives you life experience.

when did that happen??? not to derail the thread, but congratulations!!

ok, as for travel healing a broken heart, i can't say that it's ever happened to me (mostly because i've never been in that type of situation), but time helps, and distractions help, so i can see why the combination of both in the form of traveling would doubly help.
