Hey guys, just need to vent a bit.
I have a guyfriend who's being extremely clingy and still working through some very raw emotional stuff. He's a really good friend, and I want to be there for him, but f$#$! this sucks! We're just friends and a bit more, and that makes it a bit messy.
My bro. really wanted me to go to this religious seminar. I didn't want to go, but he really insisted so much, I said yes. I have such a hard time saying no. So it's today, I couldn't take the pressure, and cancelled. Now everyone thinks I'm an ungrateful bitch!
Whatever man, I need to get out and chill. Fuck all the guilt trips!
Thanks for listening!

Life can just get the best of ya sometimes... it would be great if we could all afford a quick weekend getaway to, well, get away from our problems. Here I have just been cranky cause I have had to work my sh!tty dead end job for like 7 days straight and its just unnerving the crap out of me. So although its different, I can feel your frustration.

Wow! You guys! Don't worry about the details...Keep your dreams in focus and everything will get back where it belongs, and I know everything will work out fine heheehh! And I don't think you are an ungrateful bitch Carisia!!! It's not good to do what everybody wants you to...Saying NO is hard, but sometimes it's the best thing to do...

Thanks tecia and Moc! Tecia, family can bring out the best in us and the worse in us, b/c they know us so well and are so close to us. Have faith, follow your heart, do what you can do, the rest will take care of itself !

Yes, I have a hard time saying no too. But, better to say no upfront then later, I guess?
Why is your bro pushin' religion all up on you, anyways? Is he trying to convert you? Tell him to go to H*ll...

I don't know, I've been trying to figure that out too... I think it's probably a mix of things, one, he probably sincerely thinks it's a good program in general, two, he may have thought that this program may have been helpful. oh well, i really don't need institutionalized religion right now... if you know what i'm say'ng!
anyhow, you're right, it's better to say no upfront, i need to do that with my buddy too... we're more than friends, but not dating. he's always there. i really appreciate his friendship, we have some great conversations, but i think that he may depend on my emotionally a bit too much, a bit too early... he's always there, but i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, i don't want to loose the friendship but i think i need to put some distance... oh well, life is so complicated at times!

hey
i've had that kind of friendship and yes even been the needy friend that is a little to clingy... al i can say is that everyone hates to confront there frineds... just a week ago i told a freind that being friends is all we need to be. she was hurt but now i feel alot better being honest rather than lying and getting a little gulity loven. one thing that one of my art profs told me about my work is "create something, it fails, you move on. create something, it succeeds. you move on." i think that applies to alot more than just my crappy art projects. lesson for life we all need a little drama and we all need alittle happiness its all about finding common ground with every thing you do. just as long as we keep learning about ourselfs and others and in the end love everything we have done..... no more living with regret.
WTF! sorry not much sleep, and failing an art history exam and all i want to do is write this kind of deep conversation stuff. if any of this made since awesome if not oh well. three days to spain and ibiza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! f@$% this mid term stuff i going to live it UP!!!!
