Tough Guy challenge
ok, i just read about this in todays newspaper and was totally blown away. ive never been interested in triathalons or anything like that cause it just seemed so boring. but this, if you UK natives know anything about it, is the most interesting and brutal test of endurance. its a biannual assault course that starts with a 4-mile run through english country hills and then 20 more obstacles that include barbed wire, tunnels, swamps, and running through FIRE! i want to know if anybody here has done it or knows someone that has, cause i am totally jazzed for it and am gonna start training for it soon.
check out some pics: http://projects.ajc.com/gallery/view/news/toughguy0127/

There was the most amazing picture in The Metro (a free newspaper you get on public transport) this morning, of a guy running through fire, he looked completely ablaze. Apparently 5000 people took part in the race yesterday, and not one of them finished the course.

Is there a list of all the things you have to do to finish?
The prior post was a joke

I think next years Annual TPunk meet-up should happen over here, all you guys can do the race, and I can stand at the sidelines perving over you all in your tight shorts all covered in mud, haha.

or we could just to a beer olympics for a meetup like I suggested awhile ago, and Lauren can still be a perv on the sidelines, and everyone gets drunk!

I'm down with that. So long as there are some tight shorts involved, I'm there.

Whether they finish or not!

Umm we could wear tight pants and do a race called the "beer mile".
You drink a 12oz beer for every lap (4 total). Puking causes an extra lap.
My time is 15:00. (I run 4:20 when racing)

There's no shock here. I've seen that picture before. And so have all of you, unless you've repressed it! (Or saved it in "the bank"...)

I like this beer mile idea! I might puke though. And my 1 mile time is only around 8 min so I'm going to be like the gazelle that gets picked off by the cheetah... but that's kind of the story of my life...

Crikey, it would take me about 20 minutes to run a mile sober. I'm not at all kidding. I'm so unfit, it's ludicrous.

Yeah Court buddy....I could have done without a second showing of you lubed up in your tighty-whities
Females have one of two choices...participate in the event in similarly scanty attire or spectate completely nude. Sounds like a good rule to me.
