So anyone else afraid that they can't hold up their own promises to themselves this year? So, as silly as this sounds, I'm going to state my New Year's resolutions, and that way I have to stick with them now that its public.

- I will eat responsibly, not necessarily a "diet," but the munchies are my downfall and I will no longer allow them to destroy my health and kitchen.

i dont really make new years resoultions, but if i did, it would be to get back in shape, lose 10 pounds and get out of the states at least 3 times this year.

my goal this year, since I will be going back to school in the fall, is to understand the concept of want vs. need. I have difficulties with this. And being on the premed track it's going to go a lot like this: well I WANT to go out and drink beer but I NEED to study o-chem. which sounds kind of depressing right now, but it will be good for me. I had problems with this the first time I went to college... I just wanted to have fun, I was in a sorority, all that good stuff. I think it will be easier in Columbus (despite the fact that all my sorority sisters that graduated now live in cbus haha) because I've grown up since I was a freshman in college, and I've got my mind right about this workload. so that's my goal for 2008.

My new year's resolution is to start acting like I am 33. I also need to start eating right and go to the gym (I'm joining tomorrow).

Most improtantly I need to let go of my grudges. I hold to many and let them motivate me. I need another sort of motivation.

I don't make resolutions per se, but I always say I'll TRY and do something. That way, if I don't stick to it, it's not as if I've broken any promises.

So, with that in mind, I will TRY and eat healthy and maybe go running a little bit. After all my Christmas chocolate is finished, that is.
