Default Moving to Cali. Its Official

So after many many events in the last 6 months of our lives, we are putting our house on the market Aug 15th. Once we sell, its all going in storage while we travel Central America for 6-8 weeks. Then we will come back, load the truck and cruise cross country stopping @ the Grand Canyon and a beer with Brookers somewhere in AZ. Then our new home San Diego. Super pumped, now just ready to sign the sale papers and hit the road. We already have a friend in SD to help us get settled. We met her in Amsterdam. So look for many stories to come, I just dropped the bomb on my parents today. Not too bad, but the typical sad reaction one would initially expect. The support is there though! Roxy's mom is kinda ignoring it, acting like nothing was said, and this knowledge is to hot for her dad at the moment! Thats a good one to tell a few weeks before leaving So yeah, enough rambling, I should be packing or something!!!

That's fantastic news for the both of you. Not sure which I'm more jealous of - the Central America trip, or moving to San Diego. I absolutely loved it when I went there. Lucky lucky! Good luck with everything.

Wow, all this shit sounds fucking cool. You know we didn't forget about you Mr. Jake. That would be pretty cool if you landed in the SD area. Do you know what part of town you would be living in? As for Toronto, that all comes down to a timeline, tough one, as one never knows when a house will sell, or just how long we might want to stay in central america, considering all we own will be in storage, and theres no real date that we would be required to return. We will have to play that one out, but we always love meeting other tpunks!!!
As to why SD? We had discussed SF, but we are both warm weather people and while SD isn't super warm year round, its a bit warmer than SF. But trust me, we had some serious talks about the SF area. You know a road trip will be in order

Good luck with the move, guys!! And you will love Central America, and possibly get stuck at Lake Atitlan like I have.
