thats right, TPUNK RANGER here... haha... just needed a self-esteem boost for my study date tonight (soooo scared!) and i saw that i am now a RANGER and now i feel better about myself (sad, isn't it?) but you guys are totally what i needed! thanks TP for making such an awesome site where you always feel welcome and are always surrounded by such awesome helpful people, not just with travel and backpacking, but with everything... thanks TPunkers, you guys rock my world...

Congrats Bits Yes this site is definately a great assortment of folks who have at least one thing in common... we like to travel. The greatest thing about travla's is they are so open, or at least try to be. Great job everyone!

i just got my first lonley planet book on sat. yup they are good (on tibet) i had an idea for a trip, a year long trip(almost) i start in europe, make a b-line across europe to maybe russia/asia/arab states, i dunno but i'll get to eastern asia, (just look at a map russia - kazakhstan brings me to asia) then i can get to tibet, stay in tibet, we think its over, but it is not, i then travel down austal-asia finish up in oz, just an idea, an i get afew years to save up from now till 2007/8. gotta give it a try
Tony u need to get the site in the lonelyplanet books, jst a thought, i mean all those ppl who are missin out, makes me sad
