[quote=lemlern;146208]I suppose you guys are so sick of giving other people massages you don't give each other ones? I always dreamed of dating a massage therapist... until I did and found out he refused REFUSED to give me a massage because he did it all day. /pouts. Took all the fun out of it.

Actually, thats where I'm lucky, I average at least 1 massage a week. Of course theres no such thing as a freeby. I have to give her one in return, but that is coooool not a bad price to pay to get a massage a week.

You guys would never guess what I do for a living. I have been doing it for the last 3 1/2 years. I think I am the only one with this job on Travelpunk. It is nuts. I like it but I am hoping I move on June 25, 2008.

Nope. That would be a perfect job for a travelpunk. I think there are some flight attendants in here.

Unfortunately Ze Germans, much like the FBI, are without a sense of humor. Something about inefficiency...

Thought I'd add to this ol' thread!! I just graduated this June with a degree in International Studies (thank you, thank you) and currently seriously in debt and working a boring job. I pack soap for a local and all natural soap company. Hoping to retire from that any day now and find my calling in the international world as soon as possible. Anyone hiring..?

I love a good old thread resurrection!

Since my last post, I have become a student mental health nurse (started in April 2007, qualify in April 2009), which most of you know anyway. Can't believe how fast the course has gone by, I'm shitting myself to think that in a few months I'll have to start looking for jobs (of which there are very few!)

Come to the states lauren! I'd say 80% of the posted jobs on any given day are for nurses!

I'm at work right now. Now I work as a carousel attendant in the mall and I'm searching desperately for a second job. Really boring but at least I can use my laptop.

You can find even more listings in the personals for "sexy nurses"!!!

I'm amazed that it's hard to find a job in nursing. You guys are invaluable...and saints! (Unless you're like Ben Stiller in Happy Gilmore.)

Do you know, people who qualify as general or paediatric nurses in the UK can get jobs in the US, but mental health nurses who qualify in the UK can't work as mental health nurses (or any other sort of nurse) in the US for some reason. Weird.

Thanks Jess I'm pretty convinced there are some nurses out there like Ben Stillier, luckily I don't know any of them!

Ok, don't hold it against me, but I am a practicing lawyer (only for 20 years!), hate it but hanging on for now. I'm also an inactive geographer/atmospheric scentist (M.S. 2003) taught college for year with it but still looking for opportunities to get out of legal profession

I love how lawyers are always so apologetic. It's cute!

Is being an inactive geographer like being an inactive volcano? You could go off at any moment?
