Just thought I'd take a minute to pop in and say hi. I have been visiting this site for about a year but never paid much attention to the boards until now.
I'm 29 and I live in Seattle. Last year was my first trip to Europe-- I went to England for a week and Paris for a week. And as I'm sure y'all can relate, I'm totally hooked now and there's no going back! I have a 1-2 month trip planned for the end of march. Fortunately I have "family" in England (in lovely Birmingham, for anyone who has been there... anyone... nah, didn't think so) so I can bunk there when funds start to get low.
I wish I had been able to travel sooner, but I was busy with show jumping horses and didn't really give much of a thought to it beyond "someday." Has anyone done any horseback riding in Europe? Just wondering how available and how expensive it is.
Actually I went to Edmonds-Woodway, ha ha. Had to get the hell out of snohomish county though and I don't plan on going back.
The snow was fantastic! I grew up in Montana and spent some time in Spokane, so it was nice to see the white stuff again and go sledding instead of working! yee haw
