It went great actually. I only had problems with the hash browns. I was trying to do it from the actual potatoes and they just would not stick together when I pressed them down. I think I might have added too much milk or something maybe. It worked out though cause I turned them into my own random creation that I don't think has a name but tasted really good. I was able to come up with something on the fly.

The rest was great though. The eggs came out just like we like them and now I know how to make scrambled eggs, so that is cool because now that I know how fast and easy they are to make, I can make them more often. I didn't have the dill though like I figured I wouldn't because I have no idea what it even is to tell you the truth.

Pancakes went over big and there are leftovers because I didn't realize that the recipe I made was for 14 of them hehe. So we had a few of them and then just put the rest in the fridge. The ones we did have though came out all golden and I didn't even burn any of them.

Let's see, what else was there? Oh yeah I did bacon and toast too and then had freshly made orange juice.

I kind of went for the on tv "Part of this complete and balanced breakfast" look by having like so much stuff on there. She loved it all though.

The game was kind of dorky but fun. What I did was made two big "Game Boards" that were 4 feet tall and three feet wide. They each had four "Secret Gifts" on them and backgrounds and titles telling how to play.

She had to pick from one of the two games, so that means that right off the bat 4 choices are eliminated from possible games. Then once a game was chosen she had to play that game. So the one she chose to do was that you pick TWO of the four scrolls (I made scrolls and stuck them to the boards with tape and you opened the scrolls to read the gift on the inside) and then after she picked those two she had to pick between those. So it kept going based on which she would choose etc. It was like a choose your own adventure birthday I guess.

Eventually she opened up one of them and it was asking about picking between two places. Either Nova Scotia up in Canada where her mother was brought up and she always wanted to go or Down to Florida to go to Disney and Daytons etc which was another place that she always wanted to go. So it was to be decided from there.

She keeps going back and forth a bit on where she wants to go but it looks like we are going to head down to Disney. That is probably better actually because we are so close to a ferry that goes to NS that we can go easily on a long weekend or what not anyhow. I also have family down in Florida that I haven't seen in a while that will let me borrow a car and stuff like that too.

Well, this post is huge now, but that was the day.

Eh let's see. . . Who changed mayor????? <<<I did>>> Why? <<<<because of fat people>>>>>........... Oh and I don't like cakes, ((((Spanish Mode)))) Detesto la comer, no me molesta cocinar para nada de hecho me encanta pero solo piensa en esto, cuanta gente se muere de hambre en el mundo cuando nuestro mayor problema es alrededor de un 80% de NUESTRA poblacion "sufre" (I'm using this term in a very oblique/vague way) de obesidad. SO what is my problem??? You can eat great but not eat that crap you so easily find and are used to. Do I sound like a hippie? Cause dude I hate hippies.

For those of you who don't speak Spanish, rough translation:

"I detest to eat it, does not bother to me to cook for anything in fact enchants to me but single it thinks about this, whichever people starves in the world when our greater problem is around a 80% of OUR population "suffers" (I'm using this term in a very oblique/vague way) of obesity"

No, you dont sound like a hippie... I just think your "crusade" against fatty/delicious food is far fetched... Everyone is free to choose what they want to eat... just because at Mc Donald's they ask you if you want to super-size your menu it doesnt mean that you have to. They are not pointing a machine gun at you, you know.

Don't make me write anymore in Spanish cause I think it's rude for those who don't speak it... All I have to say is that you cant blame the food... we're human, not animals, and we were blessed with the ability to use reason and common sense... let's use it.

True but just so you know I don't even step into a McDonald, well if they have Ronald around I do but only for the pic. And it's not a "crusade" against anything (oh thankies for the not being a hippie thing), I simply belive people should be more responsible about general health.

Sorry all, for switching into spanish. I'll translate if you want.

Irony at it's finest, considering this this post about how much alcohol you consume. If you're so worried about overall health, perhaps the life of your liver would be something to consider.

I knew that was soooooooo gonna bite me in the ass! but listen other than the drinking (which I think I have been taking care of), I quit smoking and besides I drink light beer, and I actually do take general tests around every month and a half, my liver is fine. amazing to say but I have a pretty clean system. I don't know how! I can run and swim so my lungs are also in a very good condition (once again I don't know how) but see I would be worried if I couldn't breathe or if something would go wrong, so far I'm in perfect condition. . . oh and sneezing makes you shorter. And yeah I know ironic.
