I'll be trying to get from london over to dublin, and back. I don't have a britrail pass, and it doesnt seem worth the 140 dollars just for a couple of trips, not including the ferries. From what I've seen, its $15 for a train to holyhead, and $30 for the ship from holy to dublin using irishferries. So about $90 there and back, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything better?
Also, I might end up doing the same thing and go over to Denmark. There's a ferry from harwich to Esberj for around $30, but again I'd need a trian from london to harwich.
Basically I'm wondering if there's packages out there that include both the rail and the ship? THX

to the boards...have you tried easyjet.com, or bmibaby.com??? discount air lines in the UK are really cheap and convienent...
