Well, I've been planning my trip for a little while now, and so far the details are:

around may 1st, fly to Amsterdam spend a few days there. Then I plan on hitting Paris, Avignon, Grenoble, Nice, Chamonix, Geneva, Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen, Venice, Rome, Florence and Cortona.

Not exactly in that order, I'm still working out the details and such but I'm definately getting a railpass to make things easier. I will most likely be going solo if my boyfriend ends up having to work ( which seems pretty likely) and I'm a little aprehensie about going alone. It's something I have to do though, no matter what. I know it will be an amazing experiance.

I'm having some trouble finding hostels in Grenoble tho.

Sounds like an exciting trip. Lauterbrunnen is lovely, I really enjoyed my visit there.

Don't worry too much about going solo, if you have to in the end. It's a great experience, and once you get on the plane most of your butterflies will settle down. Just remember to look confident even when you don't feel so great, and you'll soon start feeling better. And you'll meet plenty of people in the hostels, so you won't feel lonely.

Have fun. May'll be a beautiful time to travel, too.
