Hey fellow TPunks, I'm traveling with my buddy to Europe this Summer. We are leaving in June and coming back the first week of August.

The countries we want to go to (and I know there are a lot) are as follows:

1. Ireland (Dublin)
2. Netherlands(Amsterdam)
3. Germany (Berlin, Munich)
4. Spain (Madrid, Barcelona)
5. Czech Republic (Prague)
6. Greece (Athens)
7. Italy (Florence, Rome, Vatican, Venice)
8. Sweden (Stockholm)

We really want to be in Spain during the Running of the Bulls. We need ideas on how to travel throughout Europe by Train and Plane. I don't know where we should start...

If anyone could try to help me by telling me the smartest place to start and then where to go from there and how to go about it.

Mike

i would start in greece then
Italy
Czech Rep
Germany
Netherlands
down to Spain
then finish in ireland and fly out of dublin

if you really want to go to sweden you could add that from germany or the netherlands but its pretty far out of the way on this trip, how long do u have again and do you want to see all cities, or small towns as well

We will be there around 49 days. I really would like to see some small towns and countryside as well as main cities. Sweden can be taken out. How should I go about getting from country to country?

a rail pass would be the best way i believe. you can buy it for how many travel days you will be using during your 2 month stay ( 10 days, 15 days, etc) there are also buses.

forgot...for your longer trips, you may want to check out some discount airlines. that will cut down on your travel time. and save you precious days to explore. easyjet, ryanair, virgin express, BMI baby are a few!

www.jet2.com and www.monarch.com are another two budjet airlines. i think www.hlx.com is also fairly reasonable.with the likes of ryanair if u plan ahead u can get really cheap flights if u fly mid week, very often u can get away with just paying taxes.

hope this helps
