All I know is I plan on heading there when I go to Europe too, but as for any specifics, I don't know anything as of yet.
But then again, where don't I plan on going? Oh yeah, Macedonia, and Bosnia Hercegenovia. it sounds scary there.

I've been wanting to go to Malta for quite some time, but it just hasn't worked out, yet. From what I understand, it is popular with British tourists, and with their linkages to England in the past, I imagine you shouldn't encounter problems with the language.

In addition to being a Mediterranean island with beaches and stuff, Malta has a ton of history. One of history's greatest sieges took place there when the Ottoman Turks tried to take the island from the Knights of St. John, who ruled the island, then. So, there are tons of castles and history everywhere. Also, I guess there are lots of things to see from WW II, when the British held out on the island against the German and Italian forces.

From what I hear, though, it is a fun place. If you go, let us know...
