I have time for one day trip to cities nearby Berlin...


Potsdam, Germany vs. Dresden, Saxony??

Has anybody been to either of these cities before? What would you choose?????????

potsdam is lovely! I definately recommend it i have even posted a few photos up in the gallery of potsdam, and it only takes 30 mins on one of these fabulous double decker trains, if you get a 6 euro all day travel card that will take you to potsdam

I would go to Dresden. I have never been to Potsdam. But i have been to Dresden twice. There is a lot todo there and the neighborhood i stayed in was cool. i lived in Germany for a year, and Dresden was one of my favorite cities. Another option is Leipzig, it is also very cool.
