I am wondering if anyone has done any camping near Norbertine in the Black Forest? I will be in that area for a conference and have always wanted to visit the area for some camping.

I actually went camping near the Norbertine Monastery (ruins) a few years back and also stayed in Allerheiligen a night too. The black forest is so beautiful! I am not sure how much help I can be, but what do you want to know?

Where did you stay? Was it a campground? Backcountry? Other?

We stayed in the backcountry (no permit required) as there is a lot of public land which was allowed for camping.
