I am a 21 year old creative/alternative type. Where in Ireland, besides Dublin, would you suggest I visit?

Thanks.

The West Coast (Ring of Kerry, etc.)...my favorite was Dingle. Also Galway....

The South, like Waterford and some cute towns on the coast like Kinsale.

Honestly though, you can't go wrong with much of anyplace in Ireland.

Although I wasn't a huge fan of Cork myself, though of course you want to go to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney stone! (which is right nearby)

When I was there I hit Dublin then Dingle, rented a bike and rode the entire dingle penninsula which was amazing.. Then I hit Galway, the Cork and Kinsale... I loved each place, but my favorite was riding a bike around the dingle penninsula.

I didn't go far afield from Dublin, but I did a Glendalough/Wicklow day trip and it was absolutely worthwhile. Beautiful countryside, mystical spots, and an overall wonderful vibe out in the sticks.

Pretty much take all of the above advice for visiting Kerry and the rest of the west coast. Galway is a lot of fun, with everything pretty much concentrated in one area. Both hostels I stayed at there offered day trips to the surrounding areas. Have fun!

If you like hiking, my day hike in the Wicklow Mountains near Glendalough was cool...

And Glendalough has some cool Dark Age/Medieval historical sights...

Dingle Bay is a cool place... if you are there in the off season each pub rotates specials and bands every night so look for whats happening each night. Everyone is super friendly and the town is smaller but great place to branch off for adventures
