Check this out,
I have been living in England since September and am travelling to Paris, then the states in time for Christmas. I need a hostel that has a decently safe place to store my luggage.( I will have 2 large items. )I would be happy with metal lockers that I could use my pad lock on. I have been thinking about the Woodstock Hostel, but I hear there are no lockers. Someone did comment on Hostelz.com that they have a safe place for luggage. How safe? What are the details. Also, if anybody just has some advice on a good place to stay then I would love to hear it. I will be travelling alone so I a place that has a poppin common area or bar would be nice, but not necessary.
Thanks,
Adam

How long are you going to be staying / needing a locker?
I haven't stayed there but several people recommend the BVJ Louvre. I don't know if it has private lockers though, sorry.
Most hostels have a locked luggage storage room. Just make sure that you have a decent lock on your bags and they should be fine in there. Try calling around to the places you're interested in and ask someone about it, that may be the best way to find out for sure (unless someone replies here with a recommendation, that is).

BVJ Louvre doesn't have lockers in the rooms, but they have rental lockers downstairs... Personally, I never used them and never had a security issue, but I had cool-ass roommates.

The Peace and Love does not have lockers. In the room you get a small closet to share with everyone and the luggage room is kinda just a big room everyone throws their stuff into, the door is sometimes locked, but really anyone can ask for the key.
Not so high on the security scale.
