Hi guys,

I just received some standby passes on Olympic (Greek national carrier). I've already planned my Syria trip for September's vacation. I was thinking of using these in November. Anybody know what the weather is like in Greece, Cyprus or even Egypt during November?

Trying to figure out where to head to, and I thought I'd poll you guys and see if anyone had first hand knowledge...

Egypt isn't the sunny, warm oasis people think it is. My friend who lives there tells me it can get downright cold during the winter (cold being around 40 or 50 degrees). That's in Cairo though, it's probably a little bit warmer in Alexandria or farther south in Luxor or Aswan.

You could try a world almanac!

Yea expect cool and damp (though not necessarily rainy). What about Malta, Cypress, Corisica? Malta is amazing dude, really, you could spend a very long time there and not see everything.

Anyhow, the time of year you will be going will make thing MUCH cheaper. Also, check into ferries from one country to another - there are several. I know you can go from Malta to Sicily to Italy main land.
