Arg ! Our plane leaves in ... 11 hours. Then 30 hours later we'll arrive in Amsterdam.
Was so hard to pack - since we're not coming back, but are limited as to how much we can take on the plane. With our bikes, we're way over (yes, we're taking bikes to holland)

Awesome! You will definitely need a bike in Holland, but you know you can pick them up really cheap there. I heard some crazy statistic from a local - could be BS - that people go through a bike every month or two in Amsterdam. It gets stolen, you go buy another one that was probably stolen, and the cycle goes on. Aaanyway, biking through Holland was one of the favorite things I've done while traveling. Enjoy!!

I've heard the same thing Omi and it was from one of the bike rental companies. They said if the bike gets stolen, just return and they'll give you another bike...the sound of it make it seem like an incredibly common thing. :D Well I guess I shall see if this happens to me!
