so jealous!!! i can only hope my travel plans work out.
i got some suggestions for you!!
Spain: other then Barcelona, hit up Valencia, Andalucia, Cadiz, Granada, Malaga... just do the whole costa del sol.
Portugal: Alentejo and Lisbon
Netherlands: other then A-dam, which i highly recommend, although i'd rather stay in other cities since it can be a bit overwhelming (the amount of americans there, if you like to gain more culture) Haarlem, The Hague, Utrech
Hungary: Budapest
Italy: ah, of course Rome, again, Bologna, Siena, Torino Sicily (Palermo and Catania) The Almalfi Coast!!! and the islands off the western coast...Capri, Ischia in particular.
Maybe you can sail over to Cypress and see whats up, heard some nice stuff about it.
pace, S.

Yeah - you should be able to do 20 cities in 3 months. It's a bit of a marathon, so my advice is to take a bit of a break every 2-3 weeks or so... Spring for a nicer bed to sleep in for a night, get a good meal and take a day to just relax. Otherwise it can get pretty exhausting in the long run.
On the other hand you might want to cut out a few destinations and concentrate more closely on a few chosen cities. This way you get the feel of the city instead of just getting some pictures and doing all the tourist things. Either way you should have an amazing time. Best of luck!
