I'll be going on my 6 week trip to europe in roughly 77 days! YAY! Here's the general idea of where I shall be.

July 30th - Departing Toronto, Canada
July 31st - Arriving in London, England.
- Probably here for a few days

Brussels - for a day or two

August 5th - Amsterdam (here for a couple of days).

And then I'll be in Berlin, Krakow, Prague, Munich, and Paris. (Likely in that order)

Departure from London back to Toronto on Sept 6th. My itinerary isn't really set and I'm sure I'll hit up other places along the way! But here's the rough guideline if I get lost in a beerhall somewhere. lol.

ROFL, it is a bit of a pit stop. I'm gonna take the eurostar to the end of the line and that's in Brussels! I figure I have to stop for a day just for the chocolate alone. Hee hee. Although I do here it's a nice city as well so I have to check it out.

Sounds like a good trip, i like the way you will have a while in each city you get a lot better feel of the place if you stay for a while. Some of my last trip felt a bit like as soon as i started to understand the transport system i was leaving.

Yeah I had some truffles in Belgium and DAMN! But make sure you also hit the main square in Brussels as it's really spectacular.

Keep counting the days down!

Yeah, I cut out some places because I'm definitely going to try to enjoy a few places alot instead of rushing around like a mad tourist! I'm sure day trips and seeing just the sites in a few cities along will be more than enough 6 weeks!

>>Sounds wicked elfmaiden...I wish i was there.
And I will be....in 1.5 months. <<

You'll be there before me! *Cries* You'll have to lemme know how it is! Hee hee.

I'm gonna blow my entire budget on chocolate. lol, I just know it. That's why I can't stay very long.

Jenn

Countdown: 74 days!

Okay so we're 1 month out and my itinerary has changed a chunk. My sister has decided to fly out to London to meet me there for the last part of the trip in Scotland. Very cool, I'm sure I'll be alittle homesick by then!

Here's what I've booked in the way of hostels. Just a guideline so I know at least what city has a bed if I need it. Hee hee.

London Aug 31
Paris Aug 1-6
Amsterdam Aug 6-9
Munich Aug 10 - 13
Prague Aug 13 - 17
Cesky Krumlov Aug 17 - 22
Berlin Aug 22 - 26
Glasgow Aug 27 - 29
Isle of Mull Aug 29 - Sept 2
London Sept 2- 6

Looks good! Wasn't Krakow on your list?

Either way you'll have a ton of fun and I'll see you in Prague!

Nice addition of Cesky K. You'll be able to have some serious R&R with 5 days in this cute old town.
Don't forget to go white water rafting on the Vltava river while there, it's great fun!

Yeah Krakow was on my list, but I was trying to get a flight out to London and it just seemed to retardedly expensive. I know I'll be back, so I figured I'd just jump back in to Germany to Berlin for a few days. (The raves from people about it peg as not a bad alternative!) Much cheaper to fly outta there.

Prague! Yeah! We'll be havin' some fun.

Ev - Yes exactly what I was thinking! Some little town which will probably be dead at night when the tourists go back to Prague will be nice just to chill and soak up the atmosphere. The hostel I'm staying at gives out innertubes and stuff to play on the river. Sounds like heaven to me after the rush rush rush of all the travellin'.

White water raftin' sounds like fun!!

Jenn

P.S. I am way too excited...still a month to go! EEEK!
