I will be in Spain for about 4 or 5 days at the tail end of my trip. Madrid is the easiest location to deal with, but is there a lot to do there and around, or does any1 have other recommendations?

Try to get to Barcelona!! If you can't do that, head south from Madrid and hit some of the other towns that I'm sure U2fan and WWM will be by shortly to tell you about.

yeah, barcelona it is....a little beach time at the end of the journey isn't a bad idea

I really liked some of the smaller places..Avilia and Salimanca being at the top of my list
