Trip Planning HELP! - TravelPUNK Backpacker College Student Budget Travel Message Boards!

So a buddy and I are heading over to Europe for two weeks, the first stop is definitely going to be Ibiza, we are going in June this year (2005) for 2 weeks (actually a lil over 2 weeks). So where would you guys recommed to go from there, we are not taking the 8 hour boat ride out of Ibiza, we are flying straight somewhere.

We are very open to suggestions, I of course dont care where I go as long as I have my pack on me and some money. My buddy wants to definitely head to Amsterdam! I was thinking Ibiza, then a nice flight to Greece and then run around eastern Europe and end up somewhere in western Europe....

Suggestions PLEASE! Anything! Im heading to meet up with him tonight so we can chat about these places and I wouldnt mind some input from some fellow TP's based on your experiences.

Set aside a *good* chunk of money for Ibiza, and then just go nuts, because you won't be doing that every day... Then again, you do live in Miami

Whether it's after Ibiza or later in your trip, you should definitely try to go to Barcelona, man-- you won't regret it!

...IF you do decide to go to Greece, and being that you're a car buff.....the Acropolis Rally (WRC) is held June 24 thru 26, FYI mate.....

Yeah I hear Ibiza its quite pricey, but its all good at least we half the hotel rooms, Barcelone is cool man (im half spaniard) been there done that. I wouldnt mind going back (havent been back in years) BUT Spain ive traveled already, im trying to focus on having culture clashes. Plus if I go to Barcelona id have to chill with cousins and family and whatnot, which I wouldnt care but im going to have fun and that would be a full day gone.

I love WRC! Ill look into it, but I dont think ill be around during that time, but who knows...

I have to be back within the period that im taking off as my boss is from Glasgow, Scotland and the wee lad is going there for a month after I come back.

Spain/Portugal are always on the top of my list. Malta is also a unique place to visit!
