Just got the definite acceptance letter to goto Nottingham, England in the Spring. I just wanna get any info since i've never been off the continent.

Also I got a month off between march 18 and april 18 so any ideas for that would be great.

Waddup man! and congraty on the move.. Nottingham rocks.. I was just there a few weeks ago and I have many friends that live there its a lively seen.. they have some cool ass clubs and bars there too.. check out Club Dogma.. its silly-crazy-fresh cool! WORD! :cheers:

I live in Nottingham and am going to school here now. It's a great city. Everyone will tell you there is lots of crime but being from Vancouver, it's not bad at all. At least not that I've been exposed to yet. Normal city stuff I guess.
Tons of clubs but wouldn't want to give any recs unless I knew what kind of scene you were into. There's something going on everynight and tons of stuff (and discounts) for students.

I assume you're coming for school, so which one are you at? I'm at Uni of Nottingham so I can give you info on that too if that's where you'll be.

Yeh if you want any info pm me, i lived there for 19 years and live there when im not at uni. i love the city it's great the violence isn't that bad it's all gang related or a few drunks. plenty of clubs pubs and bars, i would definatly find a pub that has live music as there are some good local bands, and all kinds of things going on like jazz in the bell( a pub in the city center) on sunday lunchtime, its relaxed and there are some funny charachters there.

damn there are so many places to go, head to the lace market for some well dressed evenings expencive drinks but alot more chilled out than going to some of the city center clubs. saying that loads of student bars with cheap drinks dont miss the social cocktails cheap before 9 or 10. and you have to go to my favorite place on a sunny day down near the cannal with 4 big bars very good during a sunny day and some serve good food.
